Service Center Operator Internship

About the role

We are looking for a passionate Service Center Operator intern who will be directly responsible for workshop job execution with quality and pace. The position reports to the Service Centre manager in Yanbu.

Key responsibilities

• Perform hands‑on activities related to heat‑exchanger reconditioning, including disassembly, plate cleaning, dye‑penetrant inspection, gasket gluing, assembly and pressure testing.
• Always wear full personal protective equipment as required by the work.
• Report technical findings from inspections and prepare reports.
• Escalate any issues to the Team Leader before proceeding.
• Use proper tools, equipment and procedures to perform the work.
• Follow the reconditioning/repair guidelines.
• Maintain a safety‑first attitude during execution.
• Handle day‑to‑day housekeeping of the workshop.
• Maintain and care for company tools, spares and consumables.
• Ensure cleanliness and safety of workshop tools and personnel.
• Attend organized training courses as part of the personnel development program.
• Go the extra mile to meet customer requirements, including working extended hours when needed.

Required profile

• Hands‑on technician with a diploma or associate degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
• Agile and positive mindset when facing challenges.
• Strong safety awareness.
• Self‑starter and result‑oriented.
• Good understanding of operational issues.
• Team player with ability to troubleshoot technical problems.
• Flair for maintaining relationships across cultures.
• Customer‑service oriented.
• Computer literate and fluent in written and spoken English.
• Preferred to be a Saudi national.

Required skills

• Basic welding competence.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
