Shift Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for a Shift Supervisor to lead our store team during assigned shifts, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, product quality, and a clean, safe environment. The role combines people management, hospitality, and operational duties to keep the store running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Lead by example, treating team members and guests with respect and fostering a fun, motivated work atmosphere.
• Address issues promptly during the shift and provide clear, specific direction to staff.
• Train, orient and monitor new team members, and report performance to the Store Manager.
• Maintain optimal staffing levels, work various positions during busy periods, and oversee cash procedures.
• Ensure compliance with Tim Hortons operating standards, food safety, cash, break, and health‑and‑safety policies.
• Handle guest inquiries and complaints with urgency, turning negative situations into positive outcomes.
• Manage product merchandising, stock levels, and promotional updates.
• Complete shift documentation such as waste records, store checklists, and manager walk‑throughs.

Required profile

• Strong people‑management skills with the ability to lead, motivate and develop a diverse team.
• Customer‑focused mindset, able to deliver fast, friendly service and resolve issues quickly.
• Good understanding of store operations, cash handling, and inventory control.
• Commitment to health and safety practices and accurate incident reporting.
• Flexibility to work various positions and adapt to changing shift demands.
