Social Worker

About the role

We are seeking a Social Worker to join our American‑curriculum school for the upcoming semester. The position initially covers a maternity leave and may be extended into the next academic year, providing consistent support to a diverse student body.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver individual and group counseling to students, addressing academic, social and emotional concerns.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators and parents to develop intervention plans.
• Monitor student welfare, identify at‑risk cases and coordinate referrals to external services.
• Support after‑school activities and promote inclusive participation.
• Maintain accurate case records and produce regular reports for school leadership.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 year teaching or related experience in an international school setting.
• Experience working with multicultural students from various countries.
• Ability to work full‑time on‑site, Monday‑Friday, 07:00‑15:00.
• Flexibility to continue beyond the initial maternity cover period.
