Steward – Hotel Kitchen

About the role

The Steward will work in the kitchen of a hotel in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia, supporting the food and beverage service by maintaining high standards of cleanliness, organization and dishware handling. Reporting to the Assistant Stewarding Manager, the role ensures efficient operations that contribute to guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Provide courteous, professional service to guests and ensure team members follow the same standards.
• Keep the work area and surrounding zones clean, organized and compliant with hotel hygiene policies.
• Execute set‑up and service standards, monitor supplies, reduce waste and report equipment failures.
• Perform dish, pot, pan and kitchen equipment washing according to established performance standards.
• Carry out general cleaning duties, manage waste separation and adhere to fire, health and safety regulations.
• Assist with inventory counts of products and operating equipment.
• Report any malfunctioning equipment directly to the Head of Department.
• Maintain punctuality, wear the correct uniform and safety shoes, and uphold personal hygiene.
• Collaborate with staff across the department and undertake reasonable secondary tasks as assigned.
