Steward – Kitchen (Culinary)

About the role

Jumeirah The Red Sea is seeking a Steward for its kitchen operations. The role involves supporting food and beverage outlets by ensuring all dishes, equipment and utensils are clean, sanitized and ready for service. You will work in a dynamic, international resort environment, adhering to the highest hygiene standards.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and maintain dishes and operating equipment in food and beverage outlets, complying with hygiene and sanitation standards.
• Prepare banquet operating equipment by counting, sorting and organizing items.
• Maintain kitchen equipment and utensils to a high standard, minimizing breakage and ensuring cleanliness.
• Sanitize machinery and equipment according to established hygiene protocols to prevent contamination.
• Follow strict personal hygiene and grooming standards, including prescribed uniforms and name badges.
• Remain vigilant for security concerns and report any suspicious circumstances to superiors.

Required profile

• Higher Secondary School certificate.
• At least 1 year of experience in a similar stewarding or kitchen support role.
• Experience working in an international hospitality environment.
• Demonstrated understanding and respect for cultural differences.
