Structural Design Engineer

About the role

International Building Systems Factory (IBSF) is seeking a motivated Structural Design Engineer to join its engineering team. This entry‑level position supports the design and execution of industrial and construction projects while adhering to high‑quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review civil engineering drawings, layouts, and design documents.
• Develop design calculations and technical details in line with project requirements and standards.
• Coordinate with internal departments and project teams to ensure design accuracy and compliance.
• Support project execution and help resolve technical and design‑related issues.
• Prepare technical reports, material submittals, and project documentation.
• Ensure designs meet applicable codes, regulations, and quality standards.
• Contribute to process‑improvement and engineering‑efficiency initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Fresh graduate or up to 1 year of experience in civil design or construction projects.
• Good understanding of civil engineering design principles and construction drawings.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and handle work pressure.
• Knowledge of steel structures and industrial/construction projects is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD (preferred).
