Structural Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Structural Engineer to join our Architecture & Design team in Riyadh. The role focuses on structural design and analysis for F&B, retail, hospitality, fit‑out and commercial projects, working closely with architects, interior designers, BIM teams and project managers.

Key responsibilities

• Design and analyze structural systems for restaurants, cafés, retail outlets, hospitality and commercial fit‑out projects.
• Prepare structural calculations, design reports, construction drawings and technical specifications.
• Coordinate with architects, interior designers, MEP engineers and BIM teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Review architectural layouts and provide practical structural solutions during design development.
• Perform structural assessments for renovation, refurbishment and fit‑out projects.
• Review contractor shop drawings, material submittals and structural calculations.
• Conduct site inspections to verify that structural works follow approved drawings and specifications.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, international standards and safety regulations.
• Support project planning, cost optimisation and value‑engineering initiatives.
• Resolve technical issues and provide engineering support throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Structural Engineering (Master’s degree is a plus).
• 5–10 years of experience in structural engineering, preferably on F&B, restaurant, café, retail, hospitality, commercial and fit‑out projects.
• Proven experience with reinforced concrete and steel structures and interior fit‑out modifications.
• Strong knowledge of the Saudi Building Code and international design standards.
• Experience working in the GCC, especially Saudi Arabia, is highly preferred.
