Systems Engineer (Cloud & Security)

About the role

Azeus Systems Limited is seeking a Systems Engineer to join the support team for Azeus Convene, a multi‑awarded meeting and collaboration solution used by boards and leadership teams worldwide. The role involves designing, implementing and hardening system architectures across cloud and on‑premise environments.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and harden servers, configure firewalls and apply security policies.
• Deploy Azeus applications in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, KSA cloud) and on client premises.
• Identify, analyse and resolve system integration and server issues, implementing corrective and preventive actions.
• Automate recurring tasks and provide on‑call support for incident resolution.

Required profile

• Fast learner with excellent problem‑solving abilities.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to work under pressure and time constraints.
• Flexible to adapt to shifting schedules, including weekends, holidays and different time zones.
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership capabilities.

Required skills

• Experience with cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, KSA cloud.
• Proficiency in Linux‑based systems and server configuration.
• Knowledge of firewalls and server hardening techniques.
• Ability to deploy and harden applications in cloud and on‑premise environments.
