Systems Engineering Manager

About the role

AECOM is seeking a Systems Engineering Manager to lead a multidisciplinary team delivering complex rail infrastructure solutions in Saudi Arabia. You will be responsible for interpreting, organizing, and coordinating technical assignments across signalling, telecom, SCADA, AFC and other rail system domains.

Key responsibilities

• Provide leadership and people accountability for a technical group of engineers and technicians.
• Interpret, organize, execute, and coordinate technical assignments with minimal supervision.
• Develop engineering tasks for unique or controversial rail system problems, defining scope and investigating novel concepts.
• Maintain liaison with internal units and external stakeholders, acting independently on technical matters.
• Oversee the planning and development of integrated rail system architectures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent professional qualification.
• Minimum 18 years of progressive systems engineering experience within the rail industry.
• Demonstrated expertise in railway systems, including signalling, telecom, SCADA, AFC and PSD.
• Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and coordinate complex projects.
