Technical Sales Manager – High‑Voltage Solutions

About the role

As a Technical Sales Manager you will lead the creation of strategic proposals for complex high‑voltage transmission and GIS projects, helping customers modernise critical energy infrastructure. You will work closely with sales, engineering, operations, finance and legal teams to turn technical requirements into competitive, value‑driven offers that support Siemens Energy’s growth and sustainability goals.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end bid and proposal processes, delivering high‑quality technical and commercial offers.
• Analyse customer RFPs and develop winning proposal strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Prepare, review and optimise technical solutions, cost calculations and commercial proposals for GIS and high‑voltage transmission projects.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure technically sound and commercially viable submissions.
• Support customer engagements, presentations, clarifications, negotiations and contract activities throughout the sales cycle.
• Conduct market, competitor and pricing analyses to strengthen bid strategies and improve win rates.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Control, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in bid management, proposal development, sales engineering or technical sales, preferably in energy, power transmission or industrial automation.
• Strong technical knowledge of high‑voltage transmission systems, substations, power transformers and Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) solutions.
• Proven expertise in end‑to‑end bid management, technical/commercial offer preparation and contract support.
• Professional proficiency in English with excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
