Technical Services Specialist – Internship

About the role

The Technical Services Specialist internship is based in Riyadh within Abbott's Core Diagnostic division. It focuses on providing technical support for medical‑device products and offers hands‑on experience for a recent biomedical engineering graduate.

Key responsibilities

• Apply subject‑matter knowledge in medical‑device field service under limited supervision.
• Perform technical analysis of product implementations, modifications, and enhancements according to customer specifications.
• Troubleshoot technical problems, determine solutions, and recommend actions to customers or the company.
• Conduct technical training and product briefings for customers, vendors, and company representatives.
• Act as the on‑site representative for customer organizations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related field.
• License from the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) or eligibility.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Strong technical problem‑solving capability.
