Technical Support Co‑op Trainee

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Technical Support Co‑op Trainee to join our IT team. This position offers students hands‑on experience in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues while supporting everyday users in a professional environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑level technical support for hardware, software, and network‑related problems.
• Troubleshoot laptops, desktops, printers, and other IT equipment.
• Assist users with system access, password resets, and software installations.
• Escalate complex technical issues to the appropriate teams.
• Maintain accurate records of support requests and resolutions.
• Prepare and set up IT equipment for new employees.
• Participate in IT projects and system‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Eligible for a university co‑op training program.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of computer hardware.
• Familiarity with operating systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
