Traffic Manager

About the role

The Traffic Manager will lead traffic management planning for a mega‑infrastructure project in Riyadh, supporting Saudi Vision 2030 by improving urban mobility. This senior position involves designing, implementing, and monitoring traffic solutions for complex interchanges, bridges, and road networks.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive traffic management plans using advanced software tools.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to assess construction impacts on traffic flow.
• Conduct field inspections to monitor conditions and adjust strategies as needed.
• Engage with local authorities and stakeholders to obtain permits and ensure legal compliance.
• Prepare detailed traffic reports and present recommendations to senior management.
• Train and mentor junior staff on best practices in traffic management.
• Utilize traffic simulation software to model scenarios and optimize flow around construction sites.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering.
• 20+ years of experience on infrastructure projects.
• Minimum 5 years in a Traffic Manager role.
• Previous experience in Saudi Arabia or the Middle East is a strong advantage.
• Excellent written and spoken English; Arabic proficiency is a plus.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and stakeholder‑management abilities.
