About the role
The Training Manager will lead the design, implementation, and governance of the company's learning and development strategy. This role ensures that all training initiatives are tightly aligned with business objectives, competency frameworks, succession planning, career development, Saudization goals, and operational needs within the construction sector.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute the annual training strategy, calendar, and budget based on needs analysis and business priorities.
- Lead the Training Needs Analysis process across departments and projects in partnership with business leaders and HCM stakeholders.
- Design, deliver, and manage technical, behavioral, leadership, graduate, scholarship, and succession development programs.
- Ensure training aligns with competency frameworks, career paths, performance management outcomes, and succession plans.
- Measure training effectiveness using feedback, learning outcomes, behavioral impact, and ROI.
- Manage external training providers, vendors, academies, and certification bodies for quality, cost efficiency, and relevance.
- Develop internal training content in collaboration with subject‑matter experts.
- Support employee development, mentoring, coaching, and leadership programs.
- Oversee the Training team, set objectives, monitor performance, and foster a high‑performing learning culture.
- Maintain training policies, procedures, records, dashboards, and ensure compliance with legal, quality, information security, and HSE standards.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, Communication, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in Training, Learning & Development, or Talent Development.
- Minimum 3–5 years in a managerial role.
- Experience in construction, contracting, engineering, or project‑based environments is strongly preferred.
