Training Supervisor

About the role

The Training Supervisor partners with managers and department heads to identify staffing and learning needs, develop training strategies, and deliver effective learning experiences for employees. This full‑time position supports safety, orientation, and ongoing development initiatives across the hotel.

Key responsibilities

• Meet with managers to discuss staffing, recruitment, and qualification requirements.
• Develop learning strategies based on needs assessments and design training materials such as workbooks, manuals, and job aids.
• Prepare and conduct classroom and stand‑up training sessions for employee groups.
• Monitor departmental compliance with safety training and orientation programs.
• Assist management with hiring, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and coaching staff.
• Maintain confidentiality, follow company policies, and ensure professional appearance and guest service standards.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of related work experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 10 lb and perform other physical tasks.
