Accountant (Riyadh)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Accountant to join our finance team in Riyadh. The successful candidate will handle daily financial transactions, support the preparation of periodic financial statements, and ensure compliance with Saudi VAT and other regulations. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with Finance and Operations teams to improve processes.

Key responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal entries, and general ledger updates.
• Perform bank reconciliations and verify the accuracy of financial records.
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Prepare expense, revenue, and budget reports for management review.
• Support budgeting activities and monitor budget variances.
• Assist with internal and external audit documentation.
• Ensure compliance with VAT and other financial regulations.
• Process invoices, payments, payroll entries, petty cash, and reimbursements.
• Collaborate with Finance and Operations teams to streamline financial processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Fluent in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or Tally.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial tools.
• Understanding of accounting principles and Saudi financial regulations.
