BIM Engineer (Infrastructure Utilities)

About the role

Parsons is seeking a highly skilled BIM Engineer to support infrastructure utilities projects. You will lead BIM implementation, ensure compliance with quality, safety and schedule requirements, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and supervise creation of engineering deliverables such as calculations, drawings, procurement documents, design and installation packages, and technical reports.
• Define project scope, prepare budgets and schedules, and provide technical direction.
• Support other engineering activities and supervise junior staff as needed.
• Provide technical guidance to CAD designers, drafters, and engineers on the project.
• Perform additional responsibilities related to BIM coordination, simulations, and collaboration.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
• 5‑10 years of BIM implementation experience on infrastructure utilities projects.
• Background in a consultant or contractor environment on infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with ISO and UK BIM standards.
• Experience in the Middle East/Gulf region is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with BIM authoring and coordination tools: Revit, Civil 3D, Open Buildings Designer, Dynamo, Grasshopper, Navisworks, Cost X, Synchro, BIM 360/ACC, ProjectWise.
• Ability to develop analytical reports and presentations.
• Strong oral communication for effective stakeholder relationships.
