Cybersecurity & Network Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a senior Cybersecurity & Network Engineer to lead the secure operation and continuous improvement of our core network infrastructure. You will work closely with stakeholders, consultancies and government agencies to ensure the resilience, availability and compliance of our LAN, WAN and cloud‑based communication systems.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line oversight for the operations and maintenance of the core network.
• Design, deploy and manage network defenses to prevent cyber threats.
• Identify, assess and remediate security gaps across all network layers.
• Ensure high availability, reliability and performance of LAN, WAN, intranet and cloud connections.
• Lead the delivery of a comprehensive Cyber Security Framework (CSF) and associated assessments.
• Oversee the RFX process, vendor selection, onboarding and compliance with NCA standards.
• Supervise implementation teams and define the organisational structure for the cybersecurity function.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in cybersecurity, network engineering or IT infrastructure security.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security or a related field.
• Advanced certifications such as CISSP, CISM or CCNP Security are preferred.
• Strong knowledge of CSF, NIST, ISO 27001 and regulatory compliance.
• Proven experience managing RFX processes and vendor relationships.
