Facilities Manager

About the role

The Facilities Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations, maintenance, and overall management of the facility to ensure it runs efficiently, safely, and in compliance with all regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily facility operations, including maintenance, security, and housekeeping services.
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities and supervise external contractors and vendors.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs, safety hazards, and improvement opportunities.
• Develop and implement facility management policies, procedures, and HSEQ compliance measures.
• Prepare and monitor facility budgets, track expenditures, and forecast costs.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations through risk assessments and safety protocols.
• Support strategic planning for space utilization, upgrades, and capital projects.
• Assist in emergency response planning and conduct drills.
• Oversee renovation and repair projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to specifications.
• Provide guidance and training to facility staff and maintain clear communication with stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience coordinating maintenance activities and managing service providers.
• Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Ability to manage budgets and forecast facility-related costs.
• Experience conducting risk assessments and implementing safety protocols.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with internal departments, external authorities, and end‑users.
