About the role

The International Agreements & Treaties Expert will coordinate and monitor projects related to international agreements and treaties, ensuring they align with national priorities. The role involves preparing annual participation plans, representing the entity in international forums, and providing strategic recommendations on accession to agreements.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor activities and projects of international agreements and treaties to stay updated on developments.
• Lead collaboration with regulatory departments and stakeholders to set priorities for new projects.
• Develop an annual plan for national participation in international instruments and propose amendments as needed.
• Assist in resolving interpretation issues of agreements to meet entity and national objectives.
• Facilitate communication with stakeholders to define and represent the national position.
• Represent the entity at events and meetings to discuss new international projects and present recommendations.
• Guide the team in drafting recommendations for full or partial accession to agreements and ensure accurate submission to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in International Law, International Relations, or a related field with at least 6 years of relevant experience.
• Master’s degree in International Law, International Relations, or a related field with at least 4 years of relevant experience.
