Maintenance Manager – Post‑Handover & Warranty

About the role

The Maintenance Manager will lead the post‑handover and warranty phase for construction projects, ensuring all maintenance activities meet contractual and warranty obligations. You will act as the primary liaison for clients and owners during the Defects Liability Period, driving timely issue resolution and system reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the maintenance and post‑handover team, overseeing preventive and corrective maintenance plans.
• Handle client and owner requests during the Defects Liability Period, ensuring prompt response and resolution.
• Coordinate technical document collection, As‑Built drawings, and O&M manuals for project close‑out.
• Supervise maintenance teams and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with schedules, quality standards, and HSE requirements.
• Monitor maintenance activities, prepare periodic status reports, and manage final handover after warranty completion.
• Analyze recurring defects, identify root causes, and recommend improvements for future projects.
• Manage maintenance budgets, monitor expenditures, and support technician training programs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.
• 8–12 years of experience in maintenance and post‑handover management within contracting or facilities‑management companies.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
