Mechanical Engineer – Oil & Gas Projects

About the role

Our Oil & Gas Division is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join the Dammam office. You will support multiple projects, ensuring technical excellence and consistency across the portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Define engineering criteria, design philosophies and technical approaches for mechanical systems and equipment.
• Execute and review deliverables during Concept, FEED, Basic Design and Detailed Design phases for large‑scale EPC projects.
• Develop and verify mechanical calculations, including static and rotating equipment sizing, piping systems and stress analysis.
• Lead equipment selection, technical specifications and system layout development.
• Act as the primary mechanical interface with clients, licensors and regulatory authorities.
• Support project teams in resolving complex technical issues and managing design deviations.
• Participate in technical reviews, workshops and high‑level presentations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in oil & gas, hydrocarbons or power projects.
• Proven experience on large EPC projects and engineering consultancy.
• Strong knowledge of international standards (ASME, API, ASTM, ISO, ANSI).
• Fluency in English and ability to travel within the GCC.
