Mechanical Maintenance Technician – Medical Gas Systems

About the role

Rawaa AlAfaq Trading Company L.L.C. is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to manage and maintain its dedicated medical gas infrastructure. The role is site‑based, focusing on ensuring reliable operation of air and vacuum plants, manifolds and alarm systems within a healthcare environment.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the facility’s medical gas systems, including air plants, vacuum plants, manifolds and alarm systems.
• Perform daily inspections and log activities to ensure system integrity.
• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance tasks on compressors, vacuum pumps and control panels.
• Diagnose faults and carry out on‑site repairs to minimise downtime.
• Maintain compliance with HTM 02‑01 standards and international healthcare safety codes.
• Record service activities accurately and report equipment status to the supervising engineer.

Required profile

• Mechanical technical diploma (required).
• 2–3 years of hands‑on experience with industrial or medical gas plant systems.
• Familiarity with compressors, vacuum pumps and manifold control panels.
• Knowledge of HTM 02‑01 standards and healthcare safety regulations.
• Saudi national.
