MinIO & Cloudera Specialist (2+ years experience)

About the role

Giza Arabia is seeking a MinIO and Cloudera specialist to join its Riyadh office. The role is full‑time and on‑site, focusing on the operation, optimisation and support of the company’s data storage platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain and optimise MinIO and Cloudera environments.
• Perform system configuration, routine maintenance and version upgrades.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure high‑availability and performance.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement data‑storage best practices.
• Enforce security protocols and support stakeholders with technical assistance.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of hands‑on experience with MinIO and Cloudera.
• Proven ability to configure, maintain and upgrade these platforms.
• Understanding of data‑storage best practices, security standards and performance optimisation.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field; relevant certifications are a plus.
