Project Director – Major Building Projects in India

About the role

A leading international construction company is looking for a senior Project Director to lead multiple large‑scale building projects across India. The role focuses on delivering projects safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while maintaining strong client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Lead planning, budgeting, programming and resource management for all assigned projects.
• Oversee project delivery ensuring commercial, contractual, quality and HSE compliance.
• Manage subcontractor and supplier engagement, tendering and contract administration.
• Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships.
• Support senior project teams in commercial negotiations, claims and extensions of time.
• Drive a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with company HSEQ standards.
• Recruit, mentor and develop high‑performing project teams.
• Monitor project performance and provide regular reporting to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering.
• 25+ years of construction experience.
• 15+ years managing large‑scale building projects.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
