Quantity Surveyor Manager – Mega Roads Project

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor Manager to join our Project and Construction Management team in Riyadh. The position focuses on large‑scale civil engineering and transportation projects, specifically roads, highways, bridges and tunnels in urban environments.

Key responsibilities

• Control cost implications of change orders, site instructions and measurements.
• Certify interim payments and value change orders or adjustments of provisional quantities.
• Monitor and update project costs, alerting the Project Manager and Commercial Manager to potential overruns.
• Oversee re‑measurement, review contractor payment applications and contractual correspondence.
• Coordinate with other packages and disciplines, logging all contractual communication.
• Assess cost impact of value‑engineering proposals and monitor the estimate of the final account.
• Act as the primary liaison between the Quantity Surveying Department and the Contract Administrator.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Quantity Surveying or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Professional affiliation with RICS, IQS, ICES or CIOB.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in project management on mega road and highway projects, primarily as a consultant.
• Proven experience on at least one major road project.
• Strong understanding of construction, design, engineering principles and local building codes.
• Fluent English; Arabic is a plus.
• Excellent communication, report writing and problem‑solving abilities.
• Transferable Iqama for non‑Saudis and valid SCE membership.
