Senior Project Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Project Engineer to lead the execution of high‑voltage (HV) and extra‑high‑voltage (EHV) substation construction projects. The role involves planning, coordinating and supervising site activities to ensure they meet technical specifications, schedule and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Support the execution of HV/EHV substation construction projects from start‑up to hand‑over.
• Assist in project planning, scheduling and progress tracking.
• Coordinate daily activities between site teams, contractors and engineering departments.
• Monitor site work to ensure compliance with project specifications, timelines, HSE and quality standards.
• Review technical drawings, specifications and engineering documents.
• Help resolve technical issues that arise during execution.
• Prepare progress reports, documentation and project updates.
• Follow up on material deliveries, resources and site requirements.
• Support project documentation, approvals and hand‑over processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in EHV/HV substation construction and execution.
• Hands‑on site experience with multidisciplinary team coordination.
• Experience in the Saudi Arabian market is preferred.
• PMP or PMI certification is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Good problem‑solving abilities and knowledge of HSE and quality standards.
