Senior Reporting Engineer

About the role

The Senior Reporting Engineer will design, build and maintain robust reporting systems, dashboards and templates that meet both PMC and client expectations. This role ensures accurate, timely project performance data is delivered to senior stakeholders across planning, engineering, commercial and site teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project reporting systems, dashboards, and templates aligned with PMC and client requirements.
• Consolidate data from planning, engineering, commercial, and site teams to produce accurate progress reports.
• Prepare weekly, monthly and executive reports highlighting KPIs, milestones and project status.
• Analyze performance data to identify trends, risks, delays and improvement opportunities.
• Coordinate with planning and cost control teams to ensure consistency in schedules, progress and financial reporting.
• Monitor project progress against baseline schedules, highlight variances and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity and timely submission to stakeholders.
• Support the development of management dashboards using reporting tools and software.
• Participate in progress review meetings and present insights to senior management.
• Maintain proper documentation and version control of all reports and project records.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
• 8–12 years of experience in project reporting, planning or project controls on large infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of project management principles and reporting frameworks.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
