Site Architect – Riyadh

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Site Architect to join Egis’ site supervision team in Riyadh. The role involves overseeing architectural deliverables, ensuring compliance with project specifications and Saudi building regulations, and driving quality throughout construction.

Key responsibilities

• Review and monitor all architectural submissions and construction documents for adherence to design intent and specifications.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to the architectural team, fostering professional development and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate architectural, engineering, and construction disciplines to resolve interfacing conflicts and ensure integrated design solutions.
• Implement and manage QA/QC systems in line with project requirements, industry best practices, and Saudi Arabia building codes.
• Analyse the IFC package and architectural documentation for completeness and compliance.
• Evaluate plans, elevations, sections, and specifications, identifying discrepancies and recommending corrective actions.
• Review interfacing details with façade, landscape, interior design, and external areas to ensure constructability.
• Assess handrails, corridors, staircases, and fire‑escape routes, conducting constructability studies in accordance with statutory requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Site Architect or similar role in large‑scale construction projects.
• Strong understanding of Saudi Arabian building codes and regulations.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and mentor junior staff.
• Excellent analytical skills for reviewing complex architectural documentation.
