Architectural Design Leadership Manager (Developer Side)

About the role

The Architectural Design Leadership Manager will steer the design process from concept through to IFC for a developer‑driven project, ensuring alignment with operator requirements and Saudi regulatory standards. You will act as the bridge between consultants, operators, authorities, and construction teams to deliver high‑quality, constructible designs.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and guide architectural and specialty consultants across all design phases (Concept to IFC).
• Review, approve and ensure design deliverables meet quality standards and the developer’s architectural strategy.
• Manage consultant scopes, participate in RFPs and monitor timelines.
• Coordinate with hotel/serviced‑apartment operators to ensure compliance with brand standards and operational flow.
• Handle operator comments and close them within program schedules.
• Synchronise Architecture, Structure and MEP disciplines to minimise clashes and enhance constructability.
• Liaise with governmental authorities to secure compliance with the Saudi Building Code and planning regulations.
• Support construction teams by reviewing RFIs and coordinating design changes during pre‑construction and construction phases.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (Architectural Engineering preferred).
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience, including at least 2 years on the developer side.
• Proven track record of leading design phases through IFC issuance.
• Experience with hospitality projects and operator coordination is preferred.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• PMP certification is a plus.
