Carpenter – Design & Construction Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Carpenter who can blend design expertise with hands‑on construction. The successful candidate will work on custom wood projects from concept through to installation, delivering high‑quality craftsmanship while adhering to safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to develop custom woodwork plans and interpret sketches and drawings.
• Design, build, install, and repair wooden structures such as furniture, cabinets, doors, windows, and framing.
• Perform precise measurements, cutting, shaping, and assembly of materials.
• Select appropriate lumber, hardware, and tools; operate hand and power tools safely.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good condition.
• Ensure work meets industry standards, client specifications, and safety protocols through inspections and adjustments.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a carpenter.
• Proficiency in reading and creating technical drawings.
• Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, joinery, and finishing.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem‑solving and time‑management skills.
• Physical stamina to lift heavy materials.
• Carpentry certification or trade‑school training preferred.
