Design Manager – Mission Critical Facilities (Data Centres)

About the role

We are looking for a Design Manager to lead our Mission Critical Facilities (MCF) Data Centre projects. You will work with a global team to deliver reliable, sustainable data centre designs for leading clients worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full design process, quality and budget for multidisciplinary teams of 40‑60 professionals.
• Create and control design delivery schedules, allocating workload across the team.
• Lead and challenge design solutions across electrical, mechanical, architectural, structural, civil, fire, security, controls and telecom disciplines.
• Collaborate closely with clients and lead engineers to ensure compliance with local codes and industry standards.
• Coordinate and optimise design work with internal and external partners, driving innovation throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Advanced knowledge of building design and experience managing large, multidisciplinary design assignments.
• Proven ability to lead teams across borders and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
• Experience in data centre or mission‑critical facility projects.
• Commitment to improving internal processes and sharing knowledge.

Required skills

• Proficiency with 3D design tools (e.g., Revit, Navisworks).
• Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, architectural, structural, civil, fire, security, controls and telecom design.
• Project and budget management capabilities.
