Electrical Site Manager – HVDC 380kV Substations

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Site Manager to lead the execution of HVDC 380 kV substation projects. The role involves overseeing all electrical activities on‑site, ensuring they align with approved drawings, civil plans and project schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure electrical work is performed according to approved drawings and civil specifications.
• Coordinate electrical activities with civil drawings and the overall project timetable.
• Control and monitor manpower, equipment, and all site resources.
• Manage and track all RFIs (Requests for Information) and MIRs (Material Inspection Requests).
• Plan and procure required electrical materials for the site.
• Prepare daily and weekly progress reports for the site manager and customer.
• Support project reporting, invoicing and claim control for vendors.
• Coordinate with on‑site vendors and supervise their activities.
• Clear electrical punch‑list items and conduct testing to verify compliance with specifications, codes and customer requirements.
• Assist the site manager with safety, housekeeping and quality matters.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing electrical installation works on HVDC or high‑voltage substation sites.
• Strong ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and adhere to project schedules.
• Excellent documentation skills for RFIs, MIRs and progress reporting.
• Knowledge of relevant electrical codes and standards.
