Engineering Manager

About the role

The Engineering Manager will lead and coordinate all engineering disciplines for infrastructure, water, energy and industrial projects in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Reporting to senior leadership, the role ensures technical alignment, quality and compliance across the full project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Act as the primary technical focal point for clients and stakeholders.
• Ensure engineering deliverables meet scope, technical requirements, quality standards and regulations.
• Compile and maintain the Design Manual for assigned projects.
• Identify early deviations and implement counter‑measures, notifying the Project Manager of contractual impacts.
• Establish and enforce document control and revision management processes.
• Define, implement and manage design change management procedures.
• Maintain an Interface Management System to track and resolve technical interfaces.
• Control design freeze gates (IFR, IFC) and validate the Basis of Design.
• Prepare, review and approve Design Reports at key milestones (30 %, 60 %, 90 %, IFC).
• Plan, execute and manage design review cycles (IDC/DIC) and produce formal review reports.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading engineering teams on infrastructure, water, energy or industrial projects in Saudi Arabia.
• Hold a UK, European, Australian or North American passport.
• Strong knowledge of local regulations and client requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to manage technical delivery, KPIs and client satisfaction.
