About the role
We are seeking a dynamic, self‑motivated Guest Service Agent to join our front office team. In this position you will be the first point of contact for guests, delivering professional, friendly service that creates memorable stays.
Key responsibilities
- Welcome and check‑in guests following established SOPs.
- Process check‑outs and handle cash, cheques and foreign‑currency transactions in line with credit policy.
- Sell rooms to walk‑in guests and address day‑to‑day facilities issues.
- Maintain a fully stocked and operational Guest Service Desk.
- Collaborate with Housekeeping, Finance and Reservations to ensure seamless service.
- Protect guest privacy by safeguarding personal information.
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of hotel policies, facilities and services.
Required profile
- Degree in hospitality or related field.
- Previous front‑office experience in a hotel environment.
- Excellent written and verbal English; additional language is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal, problem‑solving and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced, multicultural setting.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Opera property management system (advantage).
- Computer literacy.
