Junior Front-End Developer

About the role

PulseMediaNL is looking for a motivated Junior Front-End Developer to join its remote team serving healthcare, medical and wellness brands. You will work on real‑world projects, turning designs into responsive web experiences while sharpening your technical skills.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive, user‑friendly websites and interfaces for healthcare clients.
• Convert UI/UX designs into clean, scalable front‑end code.
• Build landing pages, websites and digital assets that support marketing campaigns.
• Collaborate with designers, marketers and project managers to deliver seamless digital experiences.
• Support SEO, CRO and performance initiatives through front‑end implementation.
• Optimize sites for speed, cross‑browser compatibility and accessibility.
• Maintain WordPress sites, implement content changes and page templates.
• Identify and resolve front‑end bugs, test across browsers and devices.
• Stay updated on modern front‑end technologies and participate in code reviews.

Required profile

• 0–2 years of front‑end development experience (including internships, freelance or personal projects).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Web Development or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating engaging user experiences.

Required skills

• HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript.
• Responsive and mobile‑first development principles.
• Basic knowledge of React or Vue (a plus).
• Experience with WordPress or other CMS platforms.
• Understanding of SEO‑friendly front‑end practices.
• Git version control.
• Figma or Adobe XD for design collaboration.
