OHSE Engineer

About the role

Saudico is seeking a proactive OHSE Engineer to join its construction projects. The role involves monitoring, advising and reporting on occupational health, safety and environmental (OHSE) requirements across multiple sites.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and evaluate site activities to ensure compliance with OHSE standards and procedures.
• Support the implementation of OHSE management systems and project safety requirements.
• Conduct inspections, risk assessments and HIRA reviews to identify potential hazards.
• Prepare computerized OHSE reports, observations and follow‑up documentation.
• Coordinate and support OHSE training sessions and awareness initiatives.
• Advise project teams on corrective and preventive actions to improve safety performance.
• Promote a proactive safety culture and ensure adherence to site discipline and OHSE requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• OHSE certification such as OSHA 30‑hour (minimum) or NEBOSH IGC.
• Additional qualifications (e.g., OTHM/NVQ Level 6, Fire and Risk Management, Investigation Techniques) are an advantage.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant OHSE/site safety experience.
• Strong knowledge of OHSE regulations, reporting and risk‑management practices.
