Quality Assurance & Control Engineer – Fragrance & Cosmetics

About the role

Reef Holding is seeking a detail‑oriented Quality Assurance & Quality Control Engineer to ensure the highest standards of quality across its fragrance and cosmetics product lines. The role involves overseeing testing procedures, maintaining regulatory compliance, and collaborating with internal teams and external manufacturers to deliver safe, high‑performing products.

Key responsibilities

• Lead QA and QC processes for fragrance and cosmetic categories.
• Conduct inspections and testing of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods.
• Ensure compliance with local, GCC, and international cosmetic regulations and standards.
• Monitor manufacturing processes for consistency and specification adherence.
• Manage product stability, performance testing, and quality documentation.
• Investigate product issues, non‑conformities, and customer complaints, implementing corrective actions.
• Collaborate with product development, supply chain, and manufacturing partners to maintain product excellence.
• Support supplier quality evaluations, factory inspections, and audits.
• Prepare quality reports and maintain documentation for regulatory and internal requirements.
• Travel regularly between factories, warehouses, and retail branches as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of QA/QC experience in perfumes, cosmetics, or personal‑care manufacturing.
• Full professional proficiency in Arabic and English.
• Willingness to travel frequently based on business needs.
