Restaurant Host (Saudi National)

About the role

The F&B Host/Hostess is the first point of contact for guests at Mövenpick Hotel & Residences Riyadh. You will create a warm, premium first impression, manage reservations and seating, and support the dining team to ensure smooth operations.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, use names when possible, escort them to tables and introduce servers.
• Manage the restaurant floor flow, balance table distribution and ensure efficient seating.
• Handle all dining inquiries, bookings and walk‑ins using reservation platforms such as TableCheck, OpenTable or SevenRooms.
• Maintain guest history, noting dietary preferences, allergies and special occasions.
• Keep the host station tidy, communicate table changes and special requests to service and kitchen teams.
• Assist during peak periods with clearing, billing and resetting tables.
• Stay informed about daily specials, menu items and hotel promotions.

Required profile

• Minimum 1–2 years experience as a host/hostess in a 5‑star hotel, luxury restaurant or high‑end lounge.
• Excellent spoken and written English; Arabic fluency is a strong advantage.
• Professional grooming and uniform compliance with Mövenpick standards.
• Ability to handle guest complaints diplomatically and support Saudization goals.

Required skills

• Familiarity with modern reservation platforms (TableCheck, OpenTable, SevenRooms).
• Experience with POS systems, preferably Micros Symphony.
