Senior Architect – Stadium

About the role

Mace is seeking a Senior Architect to lead design delivery for new stadium builds, capacity expansions and mixed‑use precinct transformations in Riyadh. You will shape the architectural vision, ensure compliance with contractual requirements and embed sustainability into every phase.

Key responsibilities

• Manage design deliverables and supervise outputs from direct and indirect reports.
• Develop and align design solutions with contractual and client specifications.
• Collaborate with clients, multidisciplinary design teams and construction crews.
• Report progress, attend client meetings and facilitate design workshops.
• Support bidding activities and drive business improvement initiatives.
• Implement training plans and continuous improvement strategies.
• Build and influence key stakeholder relationships both internally and externally.
• Champion sustainability and contribute to Mace’s net‑zero carbon objectives.

Required profile

• Degree qualification in a relevant architectural discipline (essential).
• 15+ years of post‑graduate professional experience (essential).
• Proven experience on stadium, events or sports‑venue projects (essential).
• Chartered or professional membership is an advantage.
