Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

UXBERT Labs, a leading digital and user‑experience agency in the GCC, is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, automate and scale its cloud‑native platforms. You will work on high‑impact projects for Saudi government and enterprise clients, collaborating with strong design and engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Node.js and React applications using GitHub Actions and Bitbucket Pipelines.
• Manage infrastructure as code with Terraform (or CloudFormation) and ensure scalability across GCP and AWS.
• Containerize services with Docker and orchestrate workloads on Kubernetes clusters (GKE/AKS).
• Set up monitoring, observability and alerting with New Relic, Datadog and APM tools.
• Configure VPCs, load balancers, CDNs, CloudFlare and caching layers such as Redis.
• Support database scaling, migration and performance optimisation for high‑traffic sites.
• Stay ahead of emerging technologies, including AI‑assisted coding and future LLM‑driven CI/CD workflows.

Required profile

• 7+ years of DevOps experience on cloud platforms.
• Strong programming background in JavaScript or Python; familiarity with PHP is a plus.
• Hands‑on experience with both GCP and AWS; GCP certification highly advantageous.
• Proven expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD tools and monitoring solutions.
• Experience with CloudFlare, CDN configuration, Redis caching and Vercel deployment workflows.
• Comfortable working in Linux/Node.js environments and using AI coding assistants (Claude, Grok, ChatGPT).
