About the role
The Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) is seeking a motivated intern to support its Technology Deployment Cooperation Program. This 6‑month internship offers hands‑on exposure to technology screening, market analysis, and innovation assessment across IsDB Member Countries.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in establishing and maintaining technology and provider databases.
- Prepare screening summaries, comparative analysis matrices, and market‑sounding notes.
- Support the preparation of presentation slides and decision‑support materials.
- Conduct background research on relevant technology sectors and map global providers.
- Screen and compile submissions against eligibility criteria, organize appraisal forms and supporting documents.
- Populate structured databases with technology attributes and track market‑sounding calls.
Required profile
- Graduated with a Bachelor’s, Master’s or Doctoral degree within the past 12 months.
- Strong research and analytical abilities with an interest in development‑oriented solutions.
- Ability to synthesize information, attention to detail and a structured working style.
- Excellent written communication in English; knowledge of Arabic or French is a plus.

- Power BI or similar data‑visualisation tools
