Warehouse Team Leader

About the role

KONE is seeking an energetic Warehouse Team Leader to oversee end‑to‑end warehouse operations. You will ensure accurate inventory management, timely receipt and dispatch of materials, and seamless coordination with cross‑functional teams to support internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily warehouse activities including receiving, storage, picking, packing, dispatch, and returns.
• Train and guide warehouse staff to maintain productivity, discipline, and operational excellence.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using SAP or other WMS tools; conduct cycle counts and audits.
• Monitor stock levels, prepare requisition lists, and optimise warehouse layout for space utilisation.
• Inspect inbound and outbound shipments for accuracy, quality and compliance.
• Coordinate with procurement, logistics, field operations and planning teams to ensure material availability.
• Manage warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) and schedule routine maintenance.
• Prepare regular reports on stock levels, damages and overall performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 7–10 years of warehouse/storekeeping experience, preferably in engineering, construction or industrial sectors.
• Experience in a multinational environment within Saudi Arabia.
• Strong knowledge of HSE compliance, customs documentation and import/export procedures in the KMTA region.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems, especially SAP (MM module).
• Inventory control and warehouse operations expertise.
• Familiarity with warehouse management tools (WMS).
• Knowledge of HSE regulations and safety standards.
• Understanding of customs documentation and import/export processes.
• Operation of forklifts and pallet jacks.
