Business Instructor

About the role

The Business Instructor will deliver introductory business courses, providing students with foundational knowledge of core concepts, principles, and career pathways. The role focuses on creating an engaging, inclusive learning environment that connects theory to real‑world practice.

Key responsibilities

• Teach introductory business subjects such as Introduction to Business Concepts, Principles of Management, and Business in a Global Context.
• Use case studies, industry examples, and real‑world problems to contextualize learning.
• Develop lesson plans aligned with course objectives and institutional standards.
• Participate in curriculum development and continuous program improvement.
• Provide student support through office hours, academic advising, and pastoral care.
• Assess student performance using formative and summative methods and give constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with faculty to ensure alignment with degree requirements and maintain detailed records of student progress.

Required profile

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Business Management, or a closely related field from an accredited university.
• Minimum 2 years of university‑level teaching experience or equivalent professional practice.
• Strong subject‑matter expertise in core business concepts and awareness of current industry trends.
• Fluency in English (written and oral) for teaching in an English‑medium environment.
