Design Project Engineer

About the role

JASARA PMC is looking for an experienced and detail‑oriented Design Project Engineer to lead the design phase of diverse engineering projects. You will ensure that all design packages meet client requirements, industry standards, and are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and oversee design development and coordination throughout project delivery.
• Review consultant and contractor design submissions for compliance with specifications, codes, and project objectives.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary interfaces across architectural, structural, MEP, infrastructure, and specialist systems.
• Support the closure of RFIs, technical queries, design clarifications, and site issues.
• Work closely with construction and commercial teams to align design, procurement, and construction activities.
• Monitor design progress, identify risks, and lead design workshops and technical meetings.
• Facilitate communication among clients, operators (including Formula 1), contractors, consultants, and authorities.
• Support design assurance, quality control, and change management processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in design management and coordination on large‑scale engineering projects.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure design solutions are practical, buildable, and cost‑effective.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience liaising with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
