Document Controller – Saudi National

About the role

Egis is seeking a proactive Document Controller who will take ownership of document workflows across its projects in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will ensure that all project documentation is accurately managed, traceable, and compliant with internal standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all incoming and outgoing project documents, including transmittals, RFIs, reports, technical submissions, and correspondence.
• Maintain document logs, trackers, registers, and ensure proper numbering, revision control, naming conventions, and filing.
• Perform document management activities within SharePoint, PMIS, and shared repositories, keeping folder structures aligned with BDC standards.
• Archive and store project records for easy retrieval and audit readiness.
• Support preparation and compilation of draft documents, ensuring they meet quality and submission standards.
• Conduct quality checks on deliverables for completeness, formatting, page numbering, grammar, and template compliance.
• Follow up with consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders on pending submissions and overdue responses.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in document control within construction or engineering projects.
• Saudi national.
• Strong ownership mindset and proactive approach.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Aconex document management system.
• Experience with SharePoint.
• Familiarity with Project Management Information Systems (PMIS).
