Early Career Technician Trainee (Electrical)

About the role

GE Vernova offers an Early Career Training program designed for fresh graduates to gain hands‑on experience in electrical maintenance and repair. The trainee will work on‑site across various locations in the Kingdom, supporting the delivery of reliable and sustainable energy solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Learn and execute repairing and preventive maintenance tasks on high‑voltage switchgear.
• Maintain back‑office reporting, test reports, and customer documentation at the site.
• Coordinate with OEMs to resolve unresolved repair issues.
• Provide technical assistance for installation and pre‑arrangement of projects.
• Lead or support site teams, allocating responsibilities as needed.
• Participate in safety, quality, and productivity continuous‑improvement initiatives, including LOTO operations.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Fresh graduate or up to 2 years of relevant experience.
• Fluency in English and Arabic.
• Willingness to work at various sites across the Kingdom.

Required skills

• Knowledge of high‑voltage switchgear.
• Understanding of equipment information and basic electrical drawings.
• Preventive maintenance and repair techniques.
• LOTO (Lock‑out/Tag‑out) safety procedures.
