Fuel Operator

About the role

The Fuel Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient fueling of aircraft on the tarmac. This position ensures that the correct type and quantity of fuel are delivered according to airline specifications while complying with strict safety and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate fueling equipment and perform pre‑operation inspections.
• Load refuelers, conduct quality‑control tests, and record fuel quantities.
• Gauge and dip fuel tanks, carry out daily fuel sampling and quality checks.
• Complete all required documentation and reports, including incident reporting.
• Follow HSSE guidelines, company procedures, and local aviation regulations (GACA, IATA, etc.).
• Drive company vehicles (refuelers, dispensers, pick‑ups) safely and within speed limits.
• Assist the supervisor with any additional tasks as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum education: High school diploma.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Heavy Vehicle Driving License.
• Physically fit body frame suitable for handling fueling equipment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with PCs.
• Experience using Microsoft Office applications.
• Heavy Vehicle Driving License.
