Healthcare Nutrition Specialist – 6‑Month Contract in Al Ahsa

About the role

Danone MENA is seeking a Healthcare Nutrition Specialist on a six‑month fixed‑term contract to work in Al Ahsa, Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on promoting Danone’s Specialized Nutrition products to healthcare professionals (HCPs) and building scientific, trust‑based relationships that drive product preference and market share.

Key responsibilities

• Visit hospitals, clinics and private practices regularly to present scientific evidence and position Danone’s nutrition solutions as the preferred choice.
• Conduct audio‑visual scientific meetings, seminars and detailing sessions for HCPs and key opinion leaders.
• Identify business opportunities, implement a weekly call cycle, and develop tactics to protect and grow market position.
• Maintain up‑to‑date product knowledge, respond to HCP queries and complaints, and ensure compliance with WHO and local regulations for infant formula.
• Prepare and submit promotional activity reports, manage daily databases, and track quantitative and qualitative KPIs.
• Gather market intelligence on competitors, new contacts and upcoming medical events, and share insights with the team.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a medical representative or similar role in the healthcare nutrition sector.
• Strong scientific communication skills and ability to build lasting relationships with HCPs.
• Understanding of ethical standards and regulatory requirements for nutrition products.
• Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned territory.
