Legal Counsel – Saudi Arabia (Saudi Nationals Only)

About the role

Trendyol is seeking a qualified Legal Counsel to lead its legal operations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Based in Riyadh, you will embed legal thinking into business decisions, ensuring compliance with Saudi corporate, labor, and commercial regulations while supporting the company’s rapid growth.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal guidance on Saudi corporate governance, company law, and regulatory obligations.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi labor laws, supporting the People Team with employment documentation and dispute resolution.
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, service agreements, and platform terms.
• Advise on operational legal risks across core commerce functions for local and regional teams.
• Lead internal compliance reviews and implement best practices tailored to Saudi law.
• Collaborate with government entities such as MHRSD, MOC, and ZATCA.
• Coordinate with external counsel and Trendyol’s HQ legal teams on disputes and escalations.
• Monitor legal developments in e‑commerce, digital services, and platform regulation.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer with at least 5 years of post‑qualification experience in Saudi Arabia.
• Deep knowledge of Saudi labor law, corporate governance, and commercial compliance.
• Experience in e‑commerce or technology‑driven businesses is a strong advantage.
• Familiarity with local governmental processes and regulatory bodies.

Required skills

• Excellent drafting and negotiation skills in both English and Arabic.
